Join us Tuesdays and Thursdays 9 am - 12 pm at City Farm SLO for Harvest Volunteer Shifts! We will harvest, wash, and pack vegetables for distribution to the San Luis Coastal Unified School District, Harvestly, local restaurants, and the SLO Food Bank. This is an excellent opportunity to learn about sustainable and regenerative agricultural practices alongside City Farm SLO staff and volunteers!
Preference will be given to volunteers who are able to attend at least 2x/month, as harvest techniques are specialized and require initial training. New harvest volunteers must attend a training shift before attending a harvest shift. Must be 18 or older. Please bring: water, sun protection, closed-toed shoes, and a bag to bring home extra produce!
