City Farm SLO

City Farm SLO's mission is to manage the land for sustainable agricultural production, provide youth with on-site educational programs, and engage the community in the life of an urban farm.

City Farm SLO manages a 19 acre parcel of land in the City of San Luis Obispo. We provide infrastructure in the form of a state-of-the-art irrigation system, drainage swales, road maintenance and weed abatement. We assist with services such as electricity billing, regulatory reporting, security, and marketing promotion. City Farm SLO has extensive educational programs that include partnerships with Pacific Beach Continuation High School, a field trip program with elementary schools throughout SLO County, Therapeutic Horticulture classes with PREPARE, and more. City Farm SLO engages all members of the community with open invitations to become involved: from monthly work parties to harvest celebrations, there is always work to be done and fun to be had on the farm.
