ECHO (El Camino Homeless Organization) provides shelter for some of the men, women, and children who are homeless in SLO County 365 nights a year. Please consider helping ECHO as we continue to provide services to those in our county who need it the most!
ECHO is currently in need of Shower Monitor Volunteers on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 3:15pm-5:15pm.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Monday - Friday, ECHO Shelter opens its showers to non-residents. Two Shower Monitors are needed at all times to ensure the line is moving at a reasonable pace and to assist shower guests with any items they may need. This position is best for outgoing people who enjoy socializing with other volunteers and clients.
Training Description : Volunteers will have orientation and training during their first shift
Volunteer Requirements : Must enjoy working with others in a supportive role.
