Downtown SLO is in need of 2 volunteers to assist the Events Manager for Law Enforcement Night at Downtown SLO's Farmers' Market on Thursday, May 16 from 4-9PM.
Event Details: To commemorate public safety personnel across SLO County, Downtown SLO is hosting Law Enforcement Night at Downtown SLO Farmers’ Market. This event is hosted in observance of National Police Week with members of law enforcement agencies stationed along Higuera Street, including SWAT, Highway Patrol, FBI, and others. The event includes opportunities for kids to check out vehicles, view tools and equipment, and ask officers question
Event Duties:
- Assist Events Manager with Law Enforcement Night to ensure all agencies involved have specified locations on a side street throughout the market
- Make sure all displays, booths and vehicles do not violate the 20 ft. fire and emergency vehicle lanes
- Agency set up is from 5:30- 6:00 PM (No set up before 5:30 PM)
- All vehicles not part of the set up must be moved out of the barricades prior to 6:00 PM
- NO STICKERS ALLOWED (City Ordinance)
- take photos throughout the night of agencies, displays, set up, and kids enjoying Farmers' Market
