As a Dog Play Yard Supervisor Volunteer, you spend time with the dogs in the play yard. You give loving human attention, take photos of them, and supervise dog play. We provide training.
Know that your hard work is supporting New Life K9s, free service dogs for veterans and first responders with PTSD, and Son Care Mentoring, a program to empower a positive course in life.
Time: Shift times can range between 8am and 4pm
Hours: This opportunity requires a minimum commitment of 3 hours per week for a minimum of 4 months.
Training: Zoom Orientation, online Dogs 201 program (social cues and safety) and 3 in-person training sessions.
What would you do?
- Safe handling and oversight of pets to ensure the safety of all animals and deter inappropriate behavior
- Provide human attention and interaction
- Take photos for our daily updates
