At Thousand Hills Pet Resort 100% of our profits supports our nonprofit programs! We welcome all volunteer interests and will take any help you are willing to give! We would love volunteers interested in giving dogs loving human attention, taking photos of them, and supervising dog play.
Know that your hard work is supporting New Life K9s, free service dogs for veterans and first responders with PTSD, and Son Care Mentoring, a program to empower a positive course in life.
Time: Shift times can range between 8am and 4pm
Hours: This opportunity requires a minimum commitment of 3 hours per week for a minimum of 4 months.
Training: Zoom Orientation, online Dogs 101 program and 3 in-person training sessions
What would you do?
- Safe handling and oversight of pets to ensure the safety of all animals and deter inappropriate behavior
- Provide human attention and interaction
- Take photos for our daily updates
