Shower the People needs someone with a good eye for social media graphics and reels who can edit our existing photos, video clips, and promotional materials (and/or create brand new ones) to come up with engaging content that meets our social media outreach objectives.
Our primary social media outreach platforms at this point are Instagram, Facebook, and Nextdoor. We may expand to other platforms at some point. You will need to understand how to optimize content for those platforms (e.g. the correct image aspect ratios, platform content policies, community standards).
Our social media outreach objectives include recruiting new volunteers, boosting our profile in the community, making sure potential shower guests know how to find our program and what it offers, attracting donations, and establishing and maintaining good relationships with other homeless services providers.
