→ Our Mission:
- To provide volunteer support services that allow our aging population and disabled adults to live independently while maintaining dignity, respect and quality of life.
→ Who we serve:
- 62+ and mildly disabled adults living in San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara Counties who have difficulty accessing transportation. Many of our clients lack support of family, friends or just need to give their caregiver a break.
→ Our services:
- Transportation. Rides to medical appointments, shopping, social activities, counseling and other services enabling independence and active living.
- Errands. When a client is not able to leave their home, a Volunteer will shop for groceries, pick up pharmacy or other necessities and deliver.
- Comfort. Compassionate volunteers can make friendly visits in the home of a client or make wellness calls to give them friendly conversation.
