Calling All Volunteers:
Planning for the Alfano Motorcars Presents: the 2nd Annual Mercedes-Benz SLO Jazz Festival is
well underway. We are excited to bring another spectacular line up of great music, vendors,
food, beer, wine and an all-round good time! The San Luis Obispo Jazz Festival is a family event
that brings music lovers together to enjoy the amazing talents of respected musicians. This
year’s additions guarantee a truly amazing event.
But we can’t do it alone, and that is why we need you! The Mercedes-Benz SLO Jazz Festival is
a nonprofit event. The mission of this organization is to build culture through awareness,
education and events. Proceeds from the SLO Jazz Festival will benefit the 2015 Summer Jazz
Workshop. We rely heavily on our volunteers to make this event a success. This year’s Jazz
Festival will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2015. We need volunteers to help in all aspects of the
event. We need people to help with set up, clean up, day of venue assistance such as tickets,
VIP areas, décor, vendor relations and more. In exchange for a four hour shift in anyone of
these areas you will receive one free admittance ticket to the festival. If you are working during
the event when guests are present, you will also receive a Jazz Festival Volunteer T Shirt.
So, join our team! We appreciate and value the hard work of our volunteers, and I guarantee a
great experience. There will be an informational meeting on Thursday April, 2 at 6:30PM at the
Hampton Inn in San Luis Obispo (1530 Calle Joaquin). In the meantime click on this link to
