At Thousand Hills Pet Resort 100% of our profits supports our nonprofit programs! We welcome all volunteer interests and will take any help you are willing to give! We would love volunteers interested in walking dogs and supervising dog play. Know that your hard work is supporting New Life K9s, who work towards saving the lives of veterans and first responders with PTSD, and Alpha Academy, a mentoring program for young men and parolees serious about setting a positive course for their lives.
Time: Shift times can range between 8am and 4pm
Hours: This opportunity requires a minimum commitment of 3 hours per week for a minimum of 4 months.
Training: Complete the online Dogs 101 program (provided) and 3 days of training with a supervisor
What would you do?
Safe handling and oversight of pets to ensure the safety of all animals and deter inappropriate behavior
Maintaining the yard by filling water buckets/pools, picking up any waste, and weeding
