Come experience the community of Atascadero!
Atascadero Colony Days is the Annual Community Celebration that takes place on the first Saturday on Oct. 2 from 10 am to 3 pm. The event features a hometown parade that starts at 10 a.m. and runs down El Camino Real from Davis Auto Body to West Mall and Palma Ave. by Sunken Gardens.
The Festival will start immediately after the parade and continue until 3 pm. There will be a variety of vendors, amusement rides, entertainment and food in and around the Sunken Gardens. Wiener dog and small dog races will start at 12 p.m. followed by the Pet Costume Contest.
Many of the events are free to the public including participating in the parade. Registration forms for the parade or to enter your dog in a race are available online at ColonyDays.org
This year’s theme is Celebrate Community! It will be a day for the community to once again gather with friends and family and celebrate!
