Help us nurture 50 oak seedlings we planted last year to replace trees that had died from the drought on Bishop Peak. They are all doing really well! We were fortunate that we had a very wet winter. Nonetheless, it’s definitely heating up big time and the seedlings could greatly benefit from some moisture to hold them through the summer. We’re planning a watering party for Saturday, July 8th from 9:00-11:00. We’ll give each oak at least a gallon, and maybe more if time permits. Some of them have also outgrown their protective cages so we’ll take them off. Please join us if you can. No need to bring anything. We'll have water for the trees and light refreshments for us.We'll meet at the Patricia Drive trailhead at 9:00am and we should be done in a couple of hours. Need more info?
