Each month Earth Shine hosts the Third Saturday Cleanup Day at the Paso Robles River Walk. This scenic trail/habitat runs along the Salinas River and is in regular need of a little TLC by our industrious volunteers and we can always use the extra help.
We meet behind Wendy's (141 Niblick Rd #417, Paso Robles) at 10am every Third Saturday of the month. We will have a short safety discussion, discuss our game plan for the day's cleanup, and provide everyone with grabbers, gloves, bags, and safety vests. We will then spend the next few hours cleaning up areas along the River Walk Trail from Larry Moore Park to the 13th Street Bridge. This event lasts for two hours. Each month we will focus on a specific area of this trail and work together to help this scenic walkway and river adjacent natural treasure be the most beautiful and healthy it can be.
Free Pizza and refreshments are provided to all volunteers at the conclusion of these River Walk events courtesy of our friends at Villa Del Rio Apartments.
All individuals and groups are welcome to attend, but we do recommend RSVPing to the event you're attending or to contact Mike Campa (805) 591-4691 so we can be prepared for your group size.
We do recommend that all participants wear long pants and closed toe shoes to stay safe. We look forward to working with you to make a true difference in your community.
