Each month Earth Shine hosts a Cleanup Event on the Second Saturday of the month in a different Central Coast community. These events are a great way to work together as a community to help the places we call home look their best.
We supply everything you'll need to make an impact including grabbers, bags, safety vests and gloves, and we even dispose of all that we collect. All we're missing is you and your desire to be part of the solution to litter in our open spaces, streets, and waterways in the communities we call home.
And in 2025 we are excited to announce that we'll even be treating all of our volunteers to a light lunch at the conclusion of each event. Usually this will be in the form of pizza and sodas, but occasionally we mix it up with delicious street tacos.
We do advise that volunteers wear long pants, closed-toed shoes, a hat and/or sunscreen, and to bring water to stay hydrated.
All individuals and groups are welcome to attend, but we do recommend RSVPing to the event you're attending or to contact Mike Campa (805) 591-4691 so we can be prepared for your group size.
