

Who We Are
The Nipomo Native Garden is a registered 501 C.3 non-profit organization. It is a 12 acre botanical garden that highlights the plants found on the Nipomo Mesa and is part of Nipomo Regional Park. It contains walking trails, a small firepit/seating area for group meetings, exhibit kiosks, a Children’s Garden and a Little Free Library.
What We Do
The Nipomo Native Garden is developed and maintained solely with volunteer help. There are no paid employees. Workdays are on the first Saturday of every month from 9am to noon. Some of the activities include:
Weeding and pruning
Maintenance of infrastructure
Trash pickup
Planting and propagating native plants
Developing new activities for the Children’s Garden
Designing new exhibits for the information kiosks
Helping with events such as our annual plant sale
