Who We Are

SunWork is a nonprofit that began installing solar systems with the help of volunteers in the San Francisco Bay Area in 2009 and by 2017 we have installed over 500 systems and trained over 1500 volunteers.

In September 2017, SunWork began training volunteers and installing systems in San Luis Obispo County, installing three system over a one week people with the help of local volunteers.

What We Do

SunWork installs solar electricity systems on small-energy-footprint homes with the help of trained volunteers.

SunWork's nonprofit model enables us to deliver solar power to homeowners with already modest electricity use (and correspondingly low electricity bills) at a third less than the conventional cost, allowing more people to make the switch to solar and enabling broader adoption of this clean, safe, and renewable energy source reducing the impacts of climate change.

SunWork also installs solar systems for small nonprofit organizations.
