Our Mission is to ensure diverse opportunities for recreation and the personal enrichment of the County’s residents and visitors while protecting its natural, cultural, and historical resources. To put it more simply, we invite you to visit SLO County Parks, have fun, and “Think Outside!”

We manage a wide range of parks and recreation facilities including trails, golf courses, campgrounds, pools, picnic sites and more. In doing so, we welcome groups and individuals to come volunteer with us while enjoying the outdoors.
