Currently, we have Cal Poly students working on several projects: India: Implementing a community-wide sanitation system; designed efficient corn-dekernelers Nicaragua: Constructing a school for a community, teaching them how to build cheaper top-plates for latrines, teaching them how to make a source of light, and designing an efficient and less harmful cooking stover Thailand: Designing a hydroelectric generator and very recently taught the community how to make compost, which can be used or sold for a source of income Malawi: Very new team; possible projects are bike-powered corn-grinding mill, improving irrigation in the community, teaching permaculture to retain crop nutrient levels, and introducing a corn-dekerneler We are also very involved with our local community of San Luis Obispo!
