Community Action Partnership of San Luis Obispo County

Community Action Partnership of San Luis Obispo County is a nonprofit agency that focuses on helping people and changing lives through community based programs.  We are committed to eliminating poverty by empowering individuals and families to achieve economic self-sufficiency and self-determination through a comprehensive array of community-based programs. 

Annually Community Action Partnership is based in San Luis Obispo by serves 11 counties throughout California. Through a variety of programs and in collaboration with other community service agencies, Community Action Partnership helps individuals and families achieve and maintain self sufficiency through the following services:

• Help give respite to caregivers of those who suffer from ALzheimer's and other forms of dementia
• Help maintain adequate housing
• Help with a variety of services to those who are experiencing homelessness
• Help in receiving medical services
• Help obtain energy subsidy and weatherization assistance
• Help provide child care and preschool education
