Who We Are
CASA of San Luis Obispo County advocates for the best interests of abused and neglected children within the court system.
CASA volunteers are everyday people appointed by a judge to speak up for abused and neglected children. Information sessions are held each month to educate potential volunteers on the requirements and commitments of volunteers at CASA.
What We Do
CASA of San Luis Obispo County provides volunteer advocates to abused and neglected children ages 0 to 21. Some CASA volunteers specialize in advocating for infants and toddlers. Training is provided by CASA. Volunteers must commit to serving as an advocate for at least one year after completion of training. Detailed information on volunteering at slocasa.org
CASA also has a Guild dedicated to outreach and fundraising to support the CASA program.
