We believe that every person has the right to enjoy and participate in life to his/her fullest potential, as independently as possible, optimizing the capabilities and skills he/she possesses.

 We believe that each person is composed of physical, emotional, cognitive, social and spiritual components, each of which possesses specific needs that must be addressed throughout the person’s lifetime.

 We believe that leisure is inherent to human nature and that appropriately designed recreation and leisure programs will enhance quality of life and contribute to the overall health and wellness of each individual.
