Who We Are
We are a team made up of entrepreneurs and basketball players alike. Our Co founders consist of Golden State Warriors draftee Nico Mannion, Jeremy Koven, and Cameron Katal who all meth through youth basketball programs. The other two partners are WNBA player Cheyenne Parker, sister of Candace Parker, and WNBA agent Michael Penfield. Together we are looking to blaze a path and aid underserved communities by providing opportunities through basketball for kids to learn valuable life skills, create lifelong relationships, learn what it means to be apart of a team, and so much more!
What We Do
We are running a Youth Basketball League in San Luis Obispo with the help of WNBA and NBA players alike to offer the youth of the area an unparalleled experience. The league's goal is to provide an opportunity for all kids, in San Luis Obispo and the areas that surround it, to play organized basketball, learn life lessons, create friendships, and receive coaching from local high school players trainers/coaches as well as any willing parents in the are in the area. Our motto is "any child can play whether or not they can pay". We understand that not all families are able to afford league fees so the Make the Extra Pass Foundation will provide scholarships for kids who cannot afford these fees.
