Who We Are
THE GALA PRIDE & DIVERSITY CENTER SUPPORTS AND EMPOWERS PEOPLE OF ALL SEXUAL ORIENTATIONS, GENDER IDENTITIES, AND EXPRESSIONS TO STRENGTHEN AND UNITE OUR CENTRAL COAST COMMUNITY.
Within the GALA PRIDE & Diversity Center, volunteers facilitate two regular group meetings/ hangouts for LGBTQ+ youth ages 11-17.
Trans Tuesday meets every Tuesday at the Gala Pride & Diversity Center (1060 Palm St) in SLO. This is an informal social gathering group for transgender and nonbinary youth from 6th grade through 12th grade.
Q Youth meets in-person at the Gala Pride & Diversity Center (1060 Palm St) in SLO. This is an informal social gathering group for LGBTQ+ and questioning youth from 6th grade through 12th grade.
South County Q Youth meets in-person at The Center (1152 E Grand Ave) in Arroyo Grande. Center in SLO. This is an informal social gathering group for LGBTQ+ and questioning youth from 6th grade through 12th grade.
North County Rainbow Social meets in-person at the Atascadero Teen Center (5599 Traffic Way) in Atascadero. This is an informal social gathering group for LGBTQ+ and questioning youth from 6th grade through 12th grade.
What We Do
We provide a safe space for LGBTQIA+ Youth to be, to interact, to discuss, to feel safe.
