Abundance Shop Thrift Store

The Abundance Shop in Los Osos—an outreach ministry of St. Benedict’s Episcopal Church—is seeking new volunteers to join their cheerful and caring team! This local thrift store raises funds for more than 15 charitable organizations serving our neighbors in Los Osos, Morro Bay, and San Luis Obispo. Volunteers help by sorting donations and staffing the register during afternoon shifts. Whether you have a few hours a week or just want to lend a hand occasionally, your time will make a meaningful impact. The shop supports organizations such as Laundry Love, Los Osos Cares, 40 Prado, the Food Bank, Women’s Shelter, and many others working to meet urgent needs in our community. The Abundance Shop Thrift Store provides the people of Los Osos with a way to recycle and reuse household items and clothing, which reduces trash going to the landfill. The shop offers people of low or limited income a place to purchase basic items at low cost. The shop is also a friendly stopping off point for those who want a warm welcome and a chance to chat. The income from the shop supports the mission and ministry of St. Benedict’s Church in Los Osos, and to local non-profits including Woods Humane Society, Prado Day Center, Senior Nutrition Program, Transitions Mental Health, Los Osos Cares, and Hope's Village.
