The American Cancer Society Road To Recovery program provides free rides for cancer patients to and from treatment. This program is made possible by volunteers who lend their time, personal vehicles, and compassion to patients who have no other way of getting to treatment.
Drivers must:
- Own a safe and reliable vehicle - Be 18 to 84 years’ young - Have a current, valid driver’s license - Provide proof of automobile insurance - Have a good driving record - Be available weekdays - Complete an online volunteer training
