Volunteer: Salinas River CleanupHelp us pick up trash along the Juan Bautista De Anza Trail & in the Salinas River on August 27th, 6pm-8pm! This event will be held on the Sturgeon Full Moon AND it coincides with a lunar eclipse. Fingers crossed we get to see some beavers! Free snacks and social time after the clean-up. In collaboration with Earth Shine, the City of Paso Robles and Athletic Brewing’s Two for the Trails project. Where to meet: 6805 Sycamore Rd, Atascadero, CA 93422 This is a single-track dirt pathway with some brief segments of steep or uneven terrain. Make sure to bring everything you need for an active evening: water, a hat, a light/headlamp, solid footwear and some sunscreen. We will handle the rest: trash bags, trash pickers, gloves, and snacks! Please RSVP here! Where to meet: 141 Niblick Rd, Paso Robles, CA 93446There is a fully paved river walkway—however, we will be straying from the trail to access any litter that has found its way into this lovely riparian woodland. Make sure to bring everything you need for a bright and active morning: water, a hat, solid footwear and some sunscreen.
