Do you know what G.I.R.L. stands for? If you ask us, it's Go-Getter, Innovator, Risk-Taker, and Leader. These are the qualities that we want to instill in our girls so they grow up confident, caring, independent, and forward-thinking! BUT, they need leaders and role models to get them there. That's where you come in.
We need troop leaders that want to inspire, educate, lead, and empower the next generation of leaders. We provide training, support, and tons of program and planning resources for you to help guide your girls to success.
Girl Scout Troop Leaders are the backbone of our organization! These are the premier role models and doers of our community.
We have troops forming in every corner of SLO county! Wherever you are, there are Girl Scouts near you that would love to meet a role model like you.
As a troop leader, we'll help you to plan and host 1-4 meetings per month for your Girl Scouts (depending on availability and age level-- every troop is different!). Plus, every troop has at least two leaders, so you'll never be alone or overwhelmed.
The four pillars of Girl Scouts are: STEM, Life Skills, Entrepreneurship, and Outdoors.
