The SLO Symphony is looking for volunteers to help out with our Instrument Petting Zoo at the SLO Farmers Market on Thursday, August 12, 2021, from 5 pm to 9 pm.
We will be introducing children to violin, viola, and various percussion instruments. We will also have some fun activities and listening games.
We need volunteers to help set up the booth at 5 pm, sanitize instruments between groups, teach children how to play instruments, provide information to youth and other individuals, and pack up the instruments at 9 pm.
Volunteers can work for 1-2 hours at a time or stay for the entire 4-hour time slot.
