The San Luis Obispo Wind Orchestra is looking for board and/or committee members to help grow our love of music in our community. We currently have 13 board members and two will be terming out at the end of this season. We are people that have a passion for music and for the arts in our community. We are hoping to add some non-SLO Wind Orchestra musicians to our board and are hoping for people with a background in law, marketing, or finance. However, we are open to individuals from all different backgrounds.
To join the board, we would set up a meeting with you to learn more about you and to share more about our orchestra then go from there. Our current board meets roughly 7 times a year. Board meetings are generally held at the Cuesta College Music Library.
We have roughly 5 committees that meet each year ranging from the artistic planning committee to our fund development committee. Meeting dates and locations vary.
