24th Annual Concerts in the Plaza Presented by Sunset Honda and brought to you by Downtown SLO, a 501 (c)(6) nonprofit whose mission is to foster an economically vibrant Downtown. Volunteers needed for Friday, July 5 for the band Stellar playing classic rock and country.
Volunteer Guidelines
- Shifts are 4:30–7:30 PM
- The bar is open fo service from 5:00–7:30 PM
- All volunteers must check in with Volunteer Coordinator - Alex Church
- You will receive your job assignment when you check in
- Orientations will be conducted prior to the start of your shift
- Cashier/Register
- Runner
- Pourer (beer & wine)
- ID checker
- Line monitor
It is our goal to offer you this opportunity to serve your community, meet new people, and enjoy good music. As a way to show our gratitude, Downtown SLO will offer “TOKENS OF APPRECIATION” (two per person per concert) to enjoy a beverage on us!
Concerts in the Plaza is brought to you by Downtown SLO, a nonprofit whose mission is to foster an economically vibrant Downtown. Concerts is a free, family-oriented outdoor Concert series that started in 1996 as a way to better utilize Mission Plaza and our beautiful setting Downtown. The event’s focus is to draw people from the community into Downtown to eat, dine, shop and enjoy free local entertainment in the heart of San Luis Obispo. Through sponsorships and beverage sales, Concerts in the Plaza is also a fundraiser for Downtown SLO. Other special events include the Holiday Parade, Santa’s House, and Special Events at Downtown SLO Farmers’ Market. All of our events are designed to provide promotional opportunities for local businesses, artists, and musicians.
