It’s snowing in Downtown San Luis Obispo!
Come have fun with a sledding hill for all ages and a play area for children five years of age and under.Snow Night takes place during the regularly-scheduled Downtown SLO Farmers’ Market. Snow Night is free!

Event: Snow Night
Date: Thursday, January 31
Volunteer Time: 5:30-9:00 PM
Location: Downtown SLO Farmers’ Market (meet at the corner of Higuera & Chorro)
What to wear: Dress warm/waterproof, closed toed shoes (preferably waterproof), waterproof jacket.
Volunteer duties:
• Everyone will help with last minutes touches for setup as well as take down at the end (many hands make light work)
• 3 volunteers at line entrance to have participants sign waiver
• 2 volunteers at slide entrance to help children safely get to the top of the slide
• 2 volunteers at end to help children up and safely exit once they ride 3 times
• 2 volunteers at small children play area with snow shovels to fluff snow periodically
• 1 volunteer to manage the line and close off once event ends
