Morro Bay Recreation is searching for volunteers to assist with the 46th Annual Rock to Pier Run and 4th Annual Rock'n Around the Pier Half Marathon. This event is family friendly and open to participants of all ages and abilities. This year's event will be held on Saturday July 18 with the runs starting at 7:30 am.
We have volunteer opportunities available in all areas of the event. From registration, to packet pickup, to course monitors, to venue maintenance and of course the ever popular set up and clean up, we need YOUR help! Volunteer shifts are approximately 2-4 hours and in exchange you get a free t-shirt and breakfast at the event.
Besides the day of the event we will also need assistance on July 14 to "stuff" Goody Bags and on July 17 for packet pickup.
