Interested in learning more about invasive species and their impacts? Want to help the environment in your local community? Come join the Watershed Stewards Program as we remove invasive Cape ivy along SLO Creek! 

Volunteers will be outside pulling plants and are advised to wear long-sleeved shirts, long pants, and sturdy close-toed shoes, and sunscreen for protection from the elements. Volunteers should be comfortable getting dirty, walking on uneven ground, and walking through vegetation.

Please bring a water bottle. Additional water, refreshments, and snacks will be provided. 

Driving directions: From 101, take San Luis Bay Dr. and head east toward Monte Rd. Turn left on Monte Rd and continue until turning into the marked, open gate on the left side of the road.
