We need your help. Volunteers make United Ways’ tax assistance and financial education programs possible. United Way promotes community-change strategies to help families meet their basic needs while gaining the financial skills to plan for and accomplish their long-term financial goals.
United Way of SLO County is seeking volunteers to help users navigate the tax software at MyFreeTaxes.org. Duties include helping users create an account and answer any tech related questions. Volunteer does not prepare tax return. COMPUTER PROFICIENCY REQUIRED. NO TAX EXPERIENCE NECESSARY.
Program Locations & Hours:
- Los Osos Library-2075 Palisades Ave, Los Osos - 10am-2pm
- San Luis Obispo County Library-995 Palm St, SLO - 10am-2pm
- Arroyo Grande Library-800 Branch St, AG - 11am-2pm
