We are looking for a camp counselor between the ages of 18-24 to help lead a virtual summer camp! Counselors will be paid a stipend.
Camp Hope America is a national evidence-based program, committed to providing a free camping and mentoring experience to children exposed to trauma. COVID-19 has forced us to turn to a virtual format, which will be hosted through Zoom from August 3rd - August 7th.
As a counselor, you will go through daily virtual camp activities with campers and help to lead them through empowering, hope-building curriculum.
We take the process of finding counselors very seriously because we deeply care about our participants and the kind of guidance and love that they receive during their week of camp. We are looking for individuals who are compassionate, encouraging, empathetic, kind, sensitive, patient, and adventurous.
