RISE is looking for volunteers to help us coordinate our annual Walk a Mile in her Shoes event in Arroyo Grande's Heritage Square Park
Walk a Mile in Her Shoes is an awareness event that focuses on engaging men and everyone in our community in the fight against sexual assault. As a symbol of this commitment, participants are encouraged to complete a mile long walk through Arroyo Grande in which the male participants wear high heels. This family friendly event also includes a vendor fair, awareness activities, food, live music and much more!
Volunteers are needed to help out with every aspect of this event. From registration, to shoe check out, to spirit squad, there are many opportunities for you to get involved! If you would like more information on this event, please email volunteer@RISEslo.org.
