On Saturday, December 2nd, the City of Grover Beach will be hosting the 51st Annual South County Holiday Parade and also the Santa's Workshop Fine Art & Craft Faire.
We are seeking volunteers of all ages and abilities to help us with both events.
The Holiday Parade will "step off" with the assistance of the Grover Beach Rotary at the corner of Grand Avenue and 16th Street in Grover Beach, head west to 9th Street, north to Ramona Avenue and disband at the Ramona Garden Park Center to enjoy the fun, shopping and more at the Santa's Workshop Fine Art & Craft Faire. Both events begin at 10:00 a.m., with volunteers needed as early as 7:30 a.m.
Many volunteers are needed for a variety of jobs; setting up and taking down tables & chairs, making and serving popcorn, monitoring street corners for the parade, assisting City Staff with parade registration, handing out flyers to parade watchers, assisting the Grover Beach Rotary with parade line-up, and much more.
If you would like to help the City of Grover Beach with these events, or would like to be added to our volunteer please call Nora O'Donnell at (805) 473-4580, or email: nodonnell@grover.org.
