Calling all Beaver Enthusiasts, Watershed Stewards and Community Partners! Your presence is requested to support the production of the 2026 4th Annual Central Coast Beaver Festival! SLO Beaver Brigade is seeking volunteers to assist with festival setup, dam building & other kids activities, parking assistance, selling merchandise, and more. Please see the attached Google Form and Spreadsheet to view all of the potential volunteer roles and activities.
What to expect:
The festival takes place April 11th, 10am-3pm. Volunteer shifts may start as early as 8am, and end as late as 4:30pm. Shifts typically last 2-3 hours and may involve carrying or lifting heavy objects such as pop-up tents, large boxes, 5 gallon buckets, woody debris, and/or festival merchandise. All volunteers will receive a free 2026 Beaver Festival T-Shirt in exchange for your time!
When is there a better time to host an outdoor event on the central coast than in the Spring? Last year’s weather reached a high of 67°F with minimal cloud cover. The accuweather forecast for April 11th currently shows a high 70°F with scattered clouds and occasional breeze… With that in mind, please bring sun protection (i.e. hat, long sleeves, sunscreen) as needed!
Please bring appropriate footwear and a positive attitude to support your movement throughout the day.
Food and Beverages will be available for purchase at the festival. We recommend you bring your own reusable water bottle because water is life!
If you feel called, please share this announcement within your circles! Those who have attended the Beaver Festival know the joy and connection that comes from this event. Attending is fun, but volunteering is even better ;) If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact our Volunteer Coordinator, Eli Grinberg via email at eli@slobeaverbrigade.com
