Description

Volunteers will help to restore coastal bluff habitat by removing invasive non-native species and planting natives in areas that have been disturbed by park visitors. We will also protect native habitat by erecting symbolic fence to guide visitors to stay on trails and reduce erosion and accelerated bluff retreat by increasing water filtration by mulching and planting areas A separate group will also be improving resiliency in Islay campground by planting and mulching native trees and shrubs which will increase carbon absorption and habitat diversity while and improving aesthetics for park visitors. All ages welcome (minors must be accompanied by an adult and bring a waiver signed by their guardian).
