Join the California Conservation Corps Watershed Stewards Program in partnership with AmeriCorps, the Upper Salinas-Las Tablas Resource Conservation District and the City of Atascadero, in building a bioswale to improve water quality in Atascadero Lake!
When: Friday March 13th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and Saturday March 14th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Join us for the day, or stop by anytime!
What: Installing a bioswale, planting native plants, giving back to your community, fun activities for kids and learning about your watershed!
Who: Anyone and everyone! All ages are welcome. No experience needed.
Where: Meet at the corner of Lake View Dr. and Santa Rosa Rd. at the Atascadero Lake Park, Atascadero, CA 93422.
Bring: Closed-toed shoes (sturdy working/hiking boots are recommended), long pants, water bottle, coffee mug, and appropriate sun and rain protection. We will be working outside, so be prepared to get dirty.
