Would you like to volunteer to help the San Luis Obispo Wind Orchestra while enjoying some quality music?
All volunteers receive free entry into the concert. We are currently looking for volunteers to help with: Set up of materials before the concert, usher, helping our patrons, assisting our volunteers as needed, tear down of materials post-concert and assisting with refreshments during intermission. Mainly helping with setting up then assisting patrons as they enter the CPAC, then you will have a break and you can choose to enjoy the concert for free until 10 minutes before intermission. At intermission, you'll help patrons and our refreshment team. After intermission, we clean up and then you can go or stay and enjoy the remainder of the concert. Clean up is typically complete within 30 minutes of wrapping up intermission. This is a job that will ebb and flow with busy and slow periods. We will curtail your position in an area of your interest or accommodate limitations as needed. We ask volunteers to dress in formal black and white attire. These concerts are a fun way to help our community and enjoy music.
Our orchestra is a non-profit that has been successfully playing in our community for over 20 years. All of our musicians are volunteers and we count on our community to come together to provide wonderful music for people.
