Thank you for your interest in volunteering for Big Brothers Big Sisters! Through our volunteer opportunities, we hope that you find joy in giving the children of our community the mentors they need.
We would like to invite you to join us this year at The Big Brothers Big Sisters BIG EVENT on June 17th at the beautiful Oyster Ridge barn in Santa Margarita! As a volunteer, you will help make sure the event runs smoothly. We are looking for volunteers to help for three different shifts.
- Set up shift is from 9-2 p.m. on Saturday, June 17th and includes setting up tables and chairs and lots of lifting. (Ages high school+ and must be able to lift 30lbs).
- The BIG EVENT is from 4-8 p.m. but we will have shifts broken down into two segments, both about 3 hours each starting at 2:30 on Saturday, June 17th. This will include helping donors, pouring wine, serving food, etc. (Ages 21+)
- The breakdown shift will be on Sunday, June 18th from 9-12 p.m. and includes moving furniture and putting away all event equipment. (Ages high school+ and must be able to lift 30lbs).
