Make a Difference Day!

Make a Difference Day is a nationwide single-day volunteer event organized locally by Center for Service in Action at Cal Poly and co-sponsored by United Way of San Luis Obispo County. Participants will be placed at different nonprofit agencies throughout the County to help with projects ranging from gardening and painting to special events and fundraisers.

Last year, more than 20 Make a Difference Day projects were scheduled with organizations including the Boys & Girls Club of North San Luis Obispo County, United Cerebral Palsy, the Land Conservancy of SLO County, Woods Humane Society, and the Food Bank Coalition of SLO County, among many others.
