Tis the Season! The holidays are all about caring & sharing. Give something back to Nature this season by joining Friends of the Fiscalini Ranch Preserve on Saturday, December 19th from 9am to 12pm to help restore the Monterey pine forest on the ranch. We’ll be pulling French broom seedlings while the ground is nice and soft to insure that they don’t have a chance to grow up and take over. French brooms can grow to over 15 feet tall, but we’ll be pulling plants that are less than 12 inches. Bring gloves if you have them and dress in warm layers, so you can peel some off if need be. Otherwise, just bring you & your friends & family of all ages to the Fiscalini Ranch Preserve at the Trenton Ave entrance just past Warren Rd in Cambria. Tools, tips & treats provided.
