Who We Are
GSUSA is an international organization that's been building generations of female leaders and innovators for over 100 years. Our local council spans 6 counties, from Ventura through Santa Cruz. Our downtown SLO office is right in the middle of all the fun; we run programs, recruitment, and community events right here on our beautiful central coast.
What We Do
Our mission statement: Building girls of courage, confidence, and character who make the world a better place. We have many different volunteer opportunities; depending on the individual's interests, expertise, and time. Some volunteers help us booth at community events, some host skill workshops, and many lead their very own Girl Scout troops! We are volunteer-powered through and through.
