

Who We Are
DANA was founded in 1999, is a local nonprofit and dedicated to protecting, preserving, and providing public access to the 130 acre Dana Adobe Cultural Center, while sharing the stories of early California history/Rancho era, and inspiring stewardship of our natural and cultural resources. DANA is dedicated to community-based action, advocacy and education.
What We Do
Docent program: Docent-led guided tours of the historic Dana Adobe Educational program: 1800 school children annually visit the Dana Adobe for hands-on - out of the classroom experiences. Free Family Campfires: Summer evening campfire program Sunday Talk Series: Museum Lecture Series - open to the public Summer Concert Fundraisers: Concerts at the Dana Adobe Museum programs: Art exhibits, nature exhibits, cultural exhibits, Community programs: Nature Festival, Heritage Day Festival, Taste of Nipomo, Ghost tours, monthly hands-on program.
