

Who We Are
The San Luis Obispo County Medical Reserves Corps (SLOMRC) is a group of trained volunteers who assist public health efforts during times of special need or disaster, such as during a major communicable disease outbreak, earthquake, flood, tsunami, or act of terrorism.
What We Do
San Luis Obispo County Medical Reserve Corps
- Set up medical shelters and alternate care sites
- Make an unprecedented number of home visits
- Assist local healthcare providers manage patients
- Participate in community educational events such as health fairs
- Present health information to community organizations and schools
- Help with mass immunization clinics and other public health related events
- Teach the important life saving skills of Hands Only CPR
