San Luis Obispo Children's Museum

The mission of the San Luis Obispo Children's Museum is to inspire learning through play through hands-on and interactive exhibits. At the museum, learning becomes fun because it is self-directed. Children move their bodies to develop motor skills, use their imaginations to express themselves and create and build social skills by playing with other children and adults. The San Luis Obispo Children's Museum seeks to provide a high-quality, child-centered, informal learning place on the California Central Coast. We are housed in a three-story, 8,400 square foot center with indoor and outdoor activities that stimulate curiosity and discovery through play. Parents and caregivers can share moments of wonder with their children, away from the distractions of everyday life.
