Central Coast Volunteer Corps - AmeriCorps - 1/17/2010

Description

On Sunday, January 17, 2010, Central Coast Volunteer Corps AmeriCorps members joined with community members at The Boys and Girls Club of North County in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service.  Over 50 AmeriCorps Members and community volunteers worked to clean the building inside and out.  Projects included leveling an outdoor lot in preparation for paving, painting logos and murals on the walls, cleaning and organizing.  After the event, the group shared lunch and were recognized at the Martin Luther King Jr. Event put on by the City of Paso Robles.
