Terms and Conditions Organizations shall not use VolunteerSLO technology to list volunteer opportunities that involve the following prohibited activities:

Illegal Activity
Activities that involve or advocate for harm or injury to person or property or that otherwise violate local, state or federal laws (e.g., an abortion clinic protest that advocates harming clinic staff, a protest that involves deliberate disruption of downtown traffic/business, activity that involves destruction of a lab whose experiments involve animals in testing, etc.).
Religious Activity
Religious and/or sectarian activity and/or proselytizing. Faith-based organizations may sponsor CVMN volunteer opportunities, but posted opportunities may not require volunteers to engage in activities that are religious in nature (e.g., leading prayer groups, etc.), or to be a member of the organization’s affiliated church, religion, etc.
Political Activity/Advocacy
Political advocacy related to national, state, or local campaigns (candidate or ballot initiative) or partisan voter registration drives.
Research
Participating as subjects in medical trials, or scientific or market research.
Administrative Roles/Displacement
Activities that displace paid staff or impair existing contracts for services.
